Grown-Up Book Fair with The Whispering Shelf
Saturday February 28th
*If you haven’t heard, The Grown-up Book Fair is back this year as a ticketed event with The Whispering Shelf, and it sold out incredibly fast! We have been working on creating an inviting atmosphere for all book lovers who plan to visit Guggman on Saturday 2/28, whether or not you have a ticket.

We’re operating a shorter menu for the weekend with some “Book Nook” specials!
THE FESTHALL (OUR EVENT SPACE)
Shop local vendors including ceramics, art prints, candles. Plus a puzzle exchange and book donation.
Bring your puzzles you’d like to exchange and books you’d like to donate!
Live music with Anna Mae: 1-3:00pm, Elizabeth Lee 4-6:00pm
Craft table and other interactive stations
The Festhall bar will be open with Mood Reader Sour & some other favorites + cider and wine.
If you are a book fair ticket holder, the registration table and queues for the book fair entry are in the Festhall.
THE BOYLE GARAGE/ENTRYWAY:
This area will be closed off and only available to ticket holders! The Whispering Shelf will have a large array of books and book fair trinkets for perusing & purchase.
FOR TICKET HOLDERS:
Please check-in at the registration table in the Festhall to get your tote bag and book fair entrance instructions!
We are doing a “rolling” entrance during your time slot - one person out equals one person in. You’ll line up by timeslot and we plan to have you perusing the book fair as close to your allotted time as possible.

Gather to Give: Blood Cancer United
Saturday March 7th
Cancer has touched nearly every life. This community-focused day brings people together to raise awareness and funds for Blood Cancer United, while sharing education, resources, and meaningful ways to get involved. Join us to learn more, support life-saving efforts, and raise a pint in honor of those affected by blood cancer. We’ll be donating $1 per pint sold between 1-5pm.
1-5pm: Blood Cancer United will be available with resources, education swag, and Light the Night lanterns.
1-5pm: Project 44 Student Group (formerly Be The Match) will be offering information on bone marrow registry and opportunity to join day-of with live cheek swabbing.
2-4pm: Live music with Keith Beatty
All Day: Coloring/crafts available for kids (and adults)

Docs On Draft: Cardiovascular Health
Thursday March 12th
We’re excited to launch our latest speaker series in partnership with IU School of Medicine! Docs on Draft is a new speaker series designed to engage community members in discussions about important health topics. Come and form genuine connections with local doctors through conversations free of judgment. Expert physicians and scientists from IU School of Medicine will present on a topic while sharing their knowledge, engaging in dialogue and storytelling, and answering your questions.
The lineup for Docs on Draft includes topics like cardiovascular health, women’s health and wellbeing, and the importance of cancer screenings — all of which are top health concerns in Indiana!
We’ll meet in the Festhall for this series. FREE to attend, no RSVP required.

Guggman Craft Club: Styrofoam Printing
Tuesday March 24th
Join us for our first monthly Guggman Haus Craft Club! We'll be meeting monthly at our main taproom with local artist, Dani Pugel leading the way.
MARCH CRAFT CLUB: Using sheets of smooth Styrofoam, we are going to carve drawings and patterns to create an image that we will roll with ink and print onto paper! This simple craft is a great way to make greeting cards and art for your home. All supplies provided with ticket purchase.

Welcome to our second monthly Guggman Craft Club, hosted at Guggman and led by local artist Dani Pugel! Grab a ticket, and meet us at our taproom for an evening of art, community and some fun.
APRIL CRAFT: Let’s get weird with some paint! Instead of using brushes, we are going to use old gift cards and squeegees to create interesting effects with acrylic paint. All supplies provided.
